West Flooring Services is a Glasgow-based flooring contractor with over 20 years of industry experience. We have spent two decades working in homes, commercial premises, offices, restaurants, schools and healthcare facilities across central Scotland.
We started with a simple idea: do the job properly, prepare the subfloor correctly, and the floor will last. We've never changed that approach.
We supply and fit the full range of flooring products — hardwood, engineered wood, LVT, laminate, carpet, carpet tiles and safety flooring. Most flooring failures come from the same place — inadequate subfloor preparation. Uneven substrates, damp, poorly bonded surfaces, missing priming. It's the part of the job most contractors treat as an afterthought because it adds time and cost.
We treat it as the most important part of every project. Before we fit a single board, we assess and prepare the subfloor — grinding, levelling, moisture testing, screeding, priming — whatever the surface needs to carry the floor for the long term.
