Who We Are

Glasgow Floor Fitters with 20 Years of Industry Experience

We are a Glasgow-based flooring contractor covering the full central belt — from Ayrshire to Edinburgh, and everywhere in between. Our team has been fitting floors professionally for over two decades, working in homes, commercial premises, restaurants, offices and healthcare settings across central Scotland.

We supply and fit the full range of flooring products. But what separates us from most contractors is what happens before the first board goes down.

Our Difference
Most floors fail at the preparation stage. We don't rush it.

Floor preparation — levelling, grinding, screeding, moisture testing, priming — is the unglamorous part of the job. It's also the most important. Boards lift, tiles crack and surfaces bubble not because the product was wrong, but because the subfloor wasn't ready for it.

We've spent 20 years watching other contractors rush this step. We don't. Every job we take on starts with a proper assessment and proper preparation, no matter how straightforward the installation looks.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you supply and fit flooring, or just fit?

We do both. We can supply and fit your floor from a range of products, or fit flooring you've already purchased. Either way, every job includes our full preparation process.

What areas do you cover?

We cover the full central belt — Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh, Ayrshire and surrounding areas. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, just get in touch.

How long does a typical flooring job take?

It depends on the size of the project and the condition of the subfloor. A typical residential room can be completed in one to two days once preparation is done. Larger commercial projects are scoped individually. Our lead time from survey to installation is typically 2–3 weeks.

Do you offer a free survey?

Yes. We offer a free measure and survey for all new enquiries. We'll come to you, assess the space and the subfloor, and give you a clear, honest quote.

Why is floor preparation so important?

The subfloor is the foundation. If it's uneven, damp, or poorly primed, the floor laid on top of it will fail — no matter how good the product is. Floor preparation is the step most contractors rush or skip entirely. We don't. It's why our floors last.
